BROOMFIELD - Composite sketches and a photo of a vehicle believed to be connected to a series of burglaries including a home invasion were released by Broomfield Police on Monday.

Police say the two men tied up a woman and forced her and her two children into a closet during a burglary of a home in the 4100 block of Red Deer Trail last Wednesday.

Police suspect the two are also responsible for several burglaries that have occurred over the past few weeks.

Police say the reported robberies the past few weeks have similarities; suspects cased the homes and watched when residents would leave.

They would gain entry through an unlocked door or by breaking a window, taking items such as jewelry and cash.

A still from surveillance video shows a a light colored Crossover/SUV-type vehicle fleeing the scene of one of the burglaries.

One of the men is described as being of a thin build; the other suspect is described as having a stocky build and facial hair "goatee."

Broomfield Police Department is requesting your assistance. If you have seen either of these men or vehicle shown call Detective Dale Hammell at 303-464-5733.
