BOULDER - Two teens were arrested for the baseball beating of another man in Boulder Monday.

The victim, 30-year-old Aaron Tuneberg, was beaten and unconscious inside his apartment in the 5600 block of Arapahoe Avenue in Boulder. Tuneberg was seriously injured and remains in the hospital.

Police arrested Luke Pelham and Austin Holford, both 18, in connection to the assault. Police say Pelham actually called authorities an hour after the incident and told them he saw a man enter Tuneberg's house with a baseball bat.

Police later revealed that the two teens knew the victim and both were in on the crime. Both suspects were booked into the Boulder County Jail on first-degree assault and burglary charges.

A motive for the assault was not revealed.
