BOULDER - Boulder Police have arrested 24-year-old Joseph Patrick Totten after they received an anonymous tip identifying him as the person who committed the robbery at Lolita's Market, 800 Pearl St. on the morning of April 1.

Patrol officers and the Tactical Crime Team conducted a traffic stop at 12th Street and Baseline Road on Wednesday while Totten was en route to work. The arrest was made without incident at approximately 5:27 p.m. after Totten was identified by witnesses in a photograph array.

Police believe Totten was the only individual involved in the robbery and there are no additional suspects. Totten has been charged with aggravated robbery, driving under the influence of alcohol and prohibited use of weapon.

Anyone with information about this crime or the suspect is asked to contact the Detective Kristin Weisbach at 303-441-4474.
