DENVER - An anti-gang activist accused of shooting a gang member outside a Denver Boys and Girls Club in September 2013 appeared in court Monday.
Terrance Roberts has pleaded not guilty of attempted murder.

Police say Roberts shot Isaiah Jones several times during a community rally in northeast Park Hill.
An anti-gang activist accused of shooting a gang member outside a Denver Boys and Girls Club in 2013 is due in court. 9NEWS at 7 a.m. 07/28/14.
Roberts told investigators he was defending himself.
His motions hearing will continue on Friday, Aug. 1.
