KEENESBURG – Three people are in jail in connection to a stand-off that ended in a murder-suicide last Monday.
On August 4, Weld County Sheriff's deputies were trying to serve a kidnapping warrant on Shawn Kilker.
Investigators say Kilker didn't want to give up and ended up shooting his young son and then himself.
Friday, the Weld County Sheriff's Department said investigators arrested three people who allegedly played some role in the June kidnapping Kilker was wanted for.
Christopher Taylor was arrested for accessory to kidnapping and is currently being held at the Weld County Jail on a $50,000 bond.Phillip Ramsey, 18, was arrested accessory to kidnapping and bonded out of jail.
Duane Taylor, 33, was arrested Thursday in Hudson, Colo. Kilker was wanted for second-degree kidnapping, false imprisonment and criminal trespass. The name of his son was not released.
The name of the kidnapping victim or the circumstances of the incident have not been released.
The father and son died following an hours-long standoff connected to the case in Keenesburg, according to Sgt. Sean Standridge of the Weld County Sheriff's Office.

Standridge said deputies tried to arrest a man on a kidnapping warrant around 6 p.m. on Aug. 5 at his home in the 400 block of East Kiser Avenue.
When deputies tried to serve the warrant, the man barricaded himself inside his home with his teen son, Standridge said. That man was later identified as Shawn Kilker.
Kilker had been previously convicted of felony menacing. Christopher Taylor's previous convictions include felony menacing and theft.
