JEFFERSON COUNTY - The process to choose a new superintendent for Jeffco Public Schools is underway. There are forums Tuesday and Wednesday night for parents and community members to learn about the search process.

Superintendent Cindy Stevenson announced her initial resignation in November. The board hopes to have a permanent replacement chosen by May.

Tuesday, March 18

Education Center Board Room, 5th floor - 9 to 10 a.m.

Alameda International High School auditorium - 7 to 8 p.m.

Conifer High School auditorium - 7 to 8 p.m.

Wednesday, March 19

Education Center Board Room, 5th floor - 9 to 10 a.m.

Dakota Ridge High School auditorium - 7 to 8 p.m.

Arvada West High School auditorium - 7 to 8 p.m.

Jeffco employees will also be given the opportunity to give input on choosing a new superintendent at the following forums:

Tuesday, March 18

Education Center Board Room - 11 a.m. to noon

Alameda International High School auditorium - 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Conifer High School auditorium - 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Wednesday, March 19

Education Center Board Room - 11 a.m. to noon

Dakota Ridge High School auditorium - 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Arvada West High School auditorium - 4:30 ti 5:30 p.m.

Parents, community members and employees can also give input by completing a confidential online survey https://www.surveymonkey.com/s/23VNLYW. The survey will be available until 8 a.m. on March 28.
