KUSA - Given Colorado's reputation for more than 300 days of sunshine a year and plentiful outdoor activities, it might not come as a shock Denver was ranked the country's ninth most active city in a recent Men's Health poll.

Colorado Springs and Aurora were also on the list, ranked as the 29th and 28th most active cities, respectively.

Seattle, San Francisco, Oakland, Washington D.C. and Salt Lake City were ranked as the five most active cities in the country, a ranking based on how often people exercise, how much TV they watch and the number of deaths from deep-vein thrombosis (a condition linked to too much sitting down).

Lexington, Ky., Indianapolis, Ind., Jackson, Miss., Charleston, S.C. and Oklahoma City were ranked as the five least active cities.
