DENVER - A Colorado teen started a more than 1,000 mile bike ride Saturday. All to raise money for Children's Hospital.

What makes it even more challenging is that 15-year-old Bryan Warnecke has cystic fibrosis, a hereditary disease that primarily affects the lungs and digestive system.

Inspired by his participation in 2013's Courage Classic, Bryan's Pink Lightning Tour was born. The Castle Rock teen says he's doing the tour to help the hospital that's helped him.

He started Saturday by going nearly 30 miles, from Children's Colorado's main campus in Aurora, to the north campus in Broomfield.
