CEO of Food Bank of the Rockies Kevin Seggelke was there to witness all the action.

"This is just a real exciting day. As you can see, the agencies and the pantries are very excited today," Seggelke said.

Thanks to Colorado residents' generosity, $92,152 was raised and 332,714 pounds of food was collected at this year's 9Cares event. The donations will help create more than 700,000 meals.

Seggelke said Food Bank of the Rockies is always looking for extra help.

"The three legs of the stool that really make it work are donations of food, funds and time," Seggelke said.

Anyone can drop off food at Food Bank of the Rockies, or they can go online to to donate.
