KUSA –Children and families at the Children's Hospital Colorado will have opportunities to be closer to wildlife courtesy of the San Diego Zoo.
The program San Diego Zoo kids will be available to every patient at the hospital on their televisions. They will be able to watch programming on unique and endangered animal species.
"This programing is a special and unique way for our patients and their families to take a break with a virtual zoo adventure," said Jena Hausmann, president of Children's hospital Colorado.
The channel features the Zoo's famous Panda cam, as well as other live cameras and up-close encounters of popular animals at the San Diego Zoo.
The program first debuted at the Rady's Children's hospital in San Diego in 2013.
