LA JUNTA — The fourth and final inmate who escaped from the Otero County jail by overpowering guards was captured Thursday.
Angel Castrejon was found at a La Junta home Thursday and was taken into custody by La Junta Police and the Otero County Sheriff's Office.
Castrejon has done this before. He was on the run for four months in 2013 and was eventually arrested in Texas.
Curtis Apodaca was captured, according to the La Junta Fire Chief, Wednesday morning.
Wednesday afternoon, Malcolm Hoffert was captured. A third inmate, Johnny Nunez, was also recaptured Wednesday afternoon.
Deputies say the inmates fled into the La Junta rail yards and disappeared on Tuesday night. Charges against the men were not immediately available.
