DENVER - Jeremy Thee was diagnosed with polio when he was six months old and it left his whole right side paralyzed.
Thee has always used golf as a physical and emotional outlet, and now he will be treated like a golf professional for the next 10 months.
Mizuno Golf has named the Denver native as one of 12 winners of a contest called "Played Famously," because of his story of overcoming the effects of polio.
Thee will be one of 12 people on "Team JPX," and he will be fitted for a set of custom clubs and will receive a year's worth of golf supplies.
Thee will also be invited to compete in a golf tournament and he will be featured as part of a national advertising campaign.
