DENVER - Tens of thousands are expected to pack downtown Denver Saturday and Sunday for a 4/20 rally at Civic Center Park.
Organizers say they expect 50,000 to 80,000 people for both Saturday and Sunday.
After a shooting broke out at last year's rally, organizers say they will be upping security and have a large presence of Denver Police.
While legal, smoking marijuana in public places is illegal. Anyone caught could face a fine of more than $100.
Security checkpoints will also be in place.
Organizers say there will be an array of music performances, speeches from representatives within the industry and a local artist's pavilion.
Denver Police say there were 25 citations and arrests -- 17 for consumption -- through Saturday.
Two people were transported to the hospital with unknown injuries.
