GREELEY - The Greeley Police Department is now considering filing charges against a pair of grandparents who didn't lock up their marijuana well enough.

Wednesday, some fourth graders at Monfort Elementary School in Greeley stole some pot and an edible from their grandparents and sold it on school grounds.

The grandparents weren't aware the kids stole the pot from them, but the district says they should have been smart enough to store it where kids couldn't get a hold of it.

Greeley police are still investigating and haven't decided whether to charge the grandparents. The district asked police not to charge the kids involved.
