SILT – The Bureau of Land Management is trying to find out who put boards covered with nails on mountain biking trails in the Prince Creek area.

Mountain bikers found three boards with sharp nails sticking out on June 17. The BLM said two were placed on mountain biking trails "with the clear intent of damaging bikes or harming mountain bikers."

The final board was found off-trail.

The BLM is offering a $1,000 reward to anyone with information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the boards. If you have a tip, call BLM law enforcement at 970-876-9000.
