AURORA – A lockdown at the Children's Hospital ended Sunday afternoon after police found nothing unusual during a search of the hospital and grounds.

The Aurora Police Department says a threat was made via phone. The suspect is still at large.

Officers and staff checked the hospital and grounds as a precaution.

During the lockdown, people could still get into the hospital and visit family, but they were screened, a Children's Hospital spokesperson told 9NEWS.
