KUSA - There's some good news for two eastern Colorado communities that have been dealing with limited supplies of groceries.
Limon town leaders say Flagler-based Stop and Shop purchased the Bella's Markets in Limon and Stratton.
The stores closed for a couple hours Wednesday for inventory and going forward will be known as Stop and Shop.
Residents complained for months about empty store shelves.
At a meeting last month the old owners promised to have the shelves fully stocked by Aug. 1.
Last week Bella's Markets also closed in Wiggins and Akron.
