DENVER - If you're dropping off passengers at Denver International Airport during Aug. 22-24, be aware that the normal drop off on the east side of Jeppesen Terminal will be closed for about 30 hours that weekend.
DIA is closing the east side passenger drop-off area so that construction workers can finish pouring the final piece of concrete needed on the new Level 6 East bridge — a project that's underway alongside the bigger project to build DIA's new FasTracks train station and a hotel and open-air plaza on the south side of the airport terminal.
The east side passenger drop-off area will close at 10 p.m. Aug. 22 and is slated to reopen at 4 a.m. Aug. 24.
During the closure, drivers should follow signs for the Level 4 East area to drop off and pick up passengers, according to airport officials.
Airlines located on Terminal East include AirTran, Alaska Air, Delta, Frontier, Great Lakes, JetBlue, Southwest and Spirit Airlines.
