GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (AP) - Grand Junction Police are releasing few details about an officer-involved shooting Monday afternoon.

The shooting happened after officers were called to remove a person who was outside a home. KKCO-TV reports that the shooting happened after an officer made contact with a person in a vehicle.

Police have not named to victim or the officers involved, nor have they said whether the person in the car was armed. The suspect died at the scene.

Police said the two officers involved are on administrated leave.
