KUSA - When Science Guy Steve Spangler isn't making something fizz or explode here at 9News, he's teaching teachers how to make science come alive in their classrooms.

This week, Steve hosted 120 teachers from around the world at his annual event called Science in the Rockies.

He led them in more than 150 hands-on activities like mixing up the perfect batch of slime or dissecting baby diapers to uncover the superabsorbent polymer.

Steve says what makes this experience different for him is teaching teachers how to use these activities to create unforgettable learning experiences.

The workshop attracted teachers from as far away as Kuwait, New Zealand, South Korea, Mexico and Germany.
