Walmart, Target and Best Buy saw holiday crowds like they have in years past.

At the Best Buy near I-25 and Colorado Boulevard, dozens of people waited in a line that stretched all the way around the back of the building.

Some, who had been there a day or two, rested in their tents. Others who had just arrived huddled together against the building.

Around 8:00 p.m., more vehicles rolled into the parking lot, filling up the last of the empty spots.

Similar scenes played out at other nearby stores such as Toys "R" Us and Old Navy.

Welcome to Black Friday 2012.
