BOULDER COUNTY – The Boulder County Sheriff's Office is looking for the person who they believe set a large pile of wood and branches on fire early Friday morning in the area of North 107th Street and Dawson Driver.

The sheriff's office would like anyone that was in the area between midnight and 1:55 a.m. and saw anyone or any vehicles in the area to call 303-441-4444.

The Mountain View Fire Protection District extinguished the fire.

Sheriff's deputies found a one-gallon jug near the fire and smelled an odor of gasoline.

The wood and branches are believed to have come from a clean-up site from the recent floods.
