CRAIG – Crews are continuing to fight the 430 acre Ladore Fire in Dinosaur National Monument, which is currently at 0 percent containment.
The fire broke out on Monday, and no cause has been determined. Light rain and high humidity are helping the Roosevelt Hot Shots, Buena Vista Juniper Valley Crew, a Park Service Engine and State Type 3 helicopter fight the blaze, according to the Northwest Colorado Fire Management Unit.
The favorable conditions are also helping crews fight the 450 acre Elk Springs fire, which remains 90 percent contained.
