The Colorado Army National Guard is conducting helicopter-based fire suppression training at Chatfield State Park in Littleton and Rocky Mountain Arsenal in Commerce City.
In March CONG conducted training that include several surrounding agencies to prepare for responding to wildfires this season.
The training has been coordinated with park staff and local authorities to make sure the training is done safely and has little impact on park operations and visitors.
