ST. LOUIS — The largest number of arrests made by the St. Louis County Police at the Ferguson Detail have been of St. Louis residents, according to data released by the department.

From Aug. 10 to 4 p.m. Thursday, the Ferguson Detail arrested 204 people for reasons ranging from burglary to refusal to disperse. Of those, 58 self-reported as being from St. Louis.

In the second-largest group of those arrested, 35 came from outside of Missouri.

Residents from Florissant and Jennings, suburbs of St. Louis, made up the third-largest group of those arrested, at 23 people each.

Those from unincorporated St. Louis County made up the fourth-largest group at 21.

Protests started Aug. 10 after the fatal shooting of Michael Brown, 18, on Aug. 9 in Ferguson by Ferguson Police Officer Darren Wilson.
