NORTHGLENN - A man crossing a street was injured after a car hit him early Thursday morning, according to Northglenn Police.
Sgt. Jeff Herronen with Northglenn Police said the car was traveling westbound on East 104th Avenue when it hit a man, who was not in the crosswalk, near Marion Street just after midnight.
Police said the victim was unconscious when he was taken to Denver Health. There's no word on his condition.
Sgt. Herronen said the driver of the car initially drove a couple of blocks away after the crash, but returned to the scene.
That driver is not facing any charges.
