KUSA - This week, there's been three metro-area motorcycle crashes where someone was seriously injured or killed, and a Denver motorcycle safety expert fears those numbers could go up in the coming weeks.

Owner of Erico Motorsports, John Beldock, says this time of year, more motorcycles are out on the road, and they can see more accidents.

Scott O'Sullivan with The O'Sullivan Law Firm says he often deals with the danger of motorcycle.

O'Sullivan started teaching motorcycle safety after he lost a friend in a motorcycle crash.

Every spring, the National Highway Transportation Safety Board reminds motorists to be extra alert of motorcyclists and to safely "share the road." Motorcyclists are also reminded to make themselves extra visible to other motorists.
