KUSA - Singing, talking to yourself, loud music, splashing water on your face and even slapping yourself are a few of the top 15 things people do to stay awake behind the wheel says a DMEautomotive survey.

The survey reveals that less than one in four drivers do what experts recommend most: pull over and take a nap.

9NEWS anchor Mark Koebrich is looking into the effectiveness of the methods the survey revealed that people use to stay awake for 9NEWS at 4 and 6 p.m.
