LINCOLN, Neb. – The search for a missing 3-year old boy ended at a Lincoln bowling alley, when he was found playing with the stuffed animals in a claw machine.
Lincoln Police say at 5:30 p.m. Monday, the boy's 24-year old mother called 911 after she discovered her son had gotten out of their apartment while she was in the bathroom.
Officers were searching the area when someone told them he saw a boy matching his description at Madsen's Bowling & Billiards. A sergeant went inside and found the boy inside the claw machine. The vending machine company came to assist getting the boy out.
Police say the mother will not be cited.
They say the boy was allowed to keep one of the stuffed toys following his ordeal.
