TRINIDAD - A llama who wandered around the Trinidad State Junior College campus on Wednesday was killed by two men and two juveniles on Friday, according to authorities. One of the men being questioned is believed to be "part" owner of the llama.
The llama, named Sally, had gotten loose from its owner's home near the campus. Police say the llama caused a "nuisance."
The owner had sold two other llamas recently who repeatedly escaped from the home.
No one was injured during the llama's jaunt around town. The Trinidad Police Department will continue the investigation and determine if charges will be filed.
