DENVER – The NFL has changed its rules to allow teams to carry 10 players on their practice squads instead of eight.

And most likely, former CSU stars Shaquil Barrett and Kapri Bibbs will be on that list.

Bibbs set the Rams' single-season rushing record in 2013, scampering for 1,741 yards and 31 touchdowns as a redshirt sophomore. He led the NCAA in most touchdowns scored by a running back, joining Barry Sanders and Monte Ball as the only to ever rush for more than 30 in a year. Against New Mexico on Nov. 16, he tied a Mountain West record by making six visits to the end zone.

He scored a 3-yard run in the third quarter of the Broncos' 21-16 preseason win over the Seattle Seahawks.

Barrett was the Mountain West Defensive Player of the Year as a senior last fall after making a conference-leading 20½ tackles for lost yardage including an MW-best 12 sacks. He was in on 80 tackles in all, third on CSU's team behind inside linebackers Max Morgan (134) and Aaron Davis (120).
