Regis Jesuit beat Lakewood 72-31 in a 5A Great 8 game Thursday at the Denver Coliseum.

The defending champions are headed back to Boulder after another dominating performance. The 41 point margin of victory is their second largest of the playoff run. The Raiders had a 35 point win in the opening round followed by a 48 point victory Tuesday night over Ralston Valley.

Texas commit Diani Akigbogun was the Raiders leading scorer with 21 points and she added 13 rebounds. Purdue commit Justin Hall poured in 16 points for Regis Jesuit.

Lakewood's lone senior starter Jessica Brooks had 8 points which led the Tigers. Their season comes to an end with a (24-2) record.

The Raiders improve to (24-2) but haven't lost to an in-state opponent. They'll take on Poudre next Thursday at the Final 4 Boulder.
