Pueblo East beat Valor Christian 62-56 (OT) in a 4A Great Eight game Saturday at the Denver Coliseum.

Valor Christian had the victory before Dylan Gavin's buzzer beating shot that tied the game at 49 and forced overtime. Gavin finished with 27 points.

Valor was the heavy favorite to win the 4A title this season. Instead their run comes to an end with a (21-5) record. This was their first in-state loss to a 4A opponent.

The Eagles of Pueblo East will make their first Final Four appearance since 2010. They'll take a (21-5) record in to Friday's semifinal game with Sand Creek.
