AURORA - In a battle between the top two teams in state, it was Regis who walked away victorious and remained undefeated after beating Arapahoe 16-8.

Regis entered the half with a 9-4 lead and quickly scored at the beginning of the third quarter and it looked as if the Raiders were going to run away with it, but Arapahoe stormed back and scored four unanswered goals, cutting their deficit to 10-8.

Just as the game got interesting once again, the Regis defense stepped up and the offense came to life as the Raiders scored six unanswered goals of their own to pull away from the Warriors and secure the victory.

Regis will host Colorado Academy next on Wednesday at 4 p.m. and Arapahoe will host San Clemente, a team from California, on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
