LAKEWOOD - Bear Creek won their first game of league play after defeating Pomona 2-0 Wednesday night.

After the game remained scoreless late in the second half, Bear Creek got their first goal with 12:35 remaining when Carryn Renner took advantage of a loose ball in front of the net. Shortly after, Kendall Lundquist added another goal for the Bears on a corner kick.

Bear Creek will play Chatfield next on April 15 at 4 p.m. and Pomona will look to end their five game losing streak when host Columbine April 15 at 6 p.m.
