PEORIA, Ariz. (AP) - Robinson Cano had two hits and an RBI and Dustin Ackley's had a three-run double among his two hits, as the Seattle Mariners beat the Colorado Rockies 8-1 Monday.

Colorado starter Brett Anderson threw two scoreless innings, allowing four hits and a walk, while fanning two. The Rockies' only run came on Brandon Barnes' single to left that scored Charlie Blackmon.

The Rockies have another split-squad game Monday night against Arizona.

Cano, who signed a $240 million, 10-year contract, with Seattle this winter, had an infield single as one of his hits.

In four games, Ackley is hitting .600 with a home run, three doubles and six RBIs. Ackley gave his a team a 6-1 lead in the fifth inning when he ripped a bases-loaded double off Rob Scahill over the head of center fielder Brandon Barnes.

Seattle starter Blake Beavan allowed a run and four hits in three innings.
