KUSA - The free falling Rockies need a lot of help and today they got a little. Nolan Arenado is back. Colorado's 3rd baseman returns to the club tonight after being placed on the 15 day disabled list back on May 24 with a broken finger.

"It's nice to be back," said Arenado before tonights game against the Dodgers. "I feel good, my finger feels good, it's always nice to be back and see these guys."

"Having Nolan in our lineup makes our club better. And that's nothing against the guys who have filled in for him, they've done a solid job," Walt Weiss added. "But Nolan was having an all-star type year."

Arenado fractured his finger on May 23 in Atlanta while sliding into second base.

The Rockies are 36-49 and 11 games out of first place.
