KUSA - The media room at Broncos headquarters was supposed to stay quiet until the 2nd to last pick of the 2nd round, but that all changed when the NFL decided to buy into the local teams.

CSU and CU got players picked just two picks apart. Weston Richardburg, the CSU Center, going to the Giants with the 43rd pick, CU receiver Paul Richardson going to the Seahawks with the 45th overall selection.

No player started more games in Ft. Collins than Richrburg, 50 in his career. Richardson could have broken nearly every CU receiving record but decided to leave after his junior year... good move as it turned out. P Rich didn't win many games in Boulder, but he'll win a ton with the Super Bowl Champs.

Richardson and Richburg were two of five players from Colorado colleges at the NFL Combine.
