KUSA - The Broncos starters won't play Thursday in Dallas, but former Cowboy DeMarcus Ware is still excited to go back. For most of the Broncos preseason game number four is a road trip, but for Ware it's a trip home. DeMarcus played nine seasons in Dallas and left as the Cowboys all time sacks leader.
"I left a great organization, the Dallas Cowboys, but I think it's going to be just good memories going in there from how many years I played there and how many times I played in that stadium. My family is going to be also there too but business is business and you have to sort of transition into what's next and I am here now."
Ware has often been asked to compare Dallas to Denver, today, he was asked to compare the two quarterbacks.
"At the end both of those guys are players that can put up big numbers, that are consistent but each one of them lead in different ways. One guy is more quiet; he's going to lead by example and what he does. One guy is more vocal, meaning in Peyton, and he's going to also get the job done. So both of those guys are great leaders that can play really well and can lead the team to what they need to be but they just do it in different ways."
The Broncos visit Dallas at 6pm Thursday, a game you can watch on Channel 20.
