KUSA - Avalanche fans aren't the only ones fired up about Colorado's return to the the Stanley Cup playoffs. The Avs announcers are in prime form as well. Marc Moser, who calls the games on radio, has never been known as a quiet broadcaster, but Moser has taken it up a notch for the postseason. His calls of the first five games, especially the home games, have been off the charts.

In game 1 and game 5, Patrick Roy pushed all the right buttons, pulling his goalie and getting the equalizer. Both games went to overtime with the Avalanche winning both, and in both, Moser went crazy. HIs call on the equalizer Saturday night is a must listen, "PA "mother truck-in" Parenteau," is how he referred to the man who made it 3-3 and sent the game to OT.

Moser is not the only Avalanche who can get fired up. Mike Haynes, who now calls the games on television, had probably the greatest call of all-time in Joe Sakic's first fight against Doug Gilmour. After the brawl, Haynes said, "How do you like them apples Gilmour?"
