KUSA - The Colorado Avalanche finished up a successful weekend at the 2014 NHL Draft , where they selected seven players, with Conner Bleackley being the most notable at 23rd overall.

Bleackley, who is just 18 years old, was named captain for the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League last year and led his team with 68 points, while finishing tied for the lead in goals with 29.
