DENVER - A teen faces charges after crashing her friend's car into a wooded area behind a Denver Walgreens early Tuesday morning.
Denver Police responded to the Walgreens at Leetsdale Drive and South Quebec Street just after midnight.
Police said a 17-year-old girl was driving a Toyota Corolla with two teenage passengers.
She took the turn into the Walgreens parking lot too quickly, hit the curb and went down a small embankment into a wooded area.
The car landed upright, and the three teens were not injured.
Officers on scene told 9NEWS the 18-year-old owner of the Corolla was a passenger in the car.
Police said the driver would be charged with careless driving, driving without a license and driving without proof of insurance.
