DENVER - A person driving on the shoulder of southbound Interstate 225 Tuesday morning hit four other vehicles, according to Denver Police.
It is unknown at this time why the driver was driving on the shoulder at the time of the wrecks.
The incidents happened on southbound I-225 between Parker Road and Interstate 25.
According to authorities, the driver abandoned the car and ran toward the light rail area near I-225 and Tamarac Drive in the Denver Tech Center. He is described as a black man, 6-feet tall in his early 20s, wearing a black T-shirt and blue shorts.
Police say the car was not stolen, so they are hoping to find the driver soon.
