DENVER BUSINESS JOURNAL - United Airlines posted the best on-time arrival rate of any airline at Denver International Airport in April, the U.S. Department of Transportation reports.
United is DIA's No. 1 carrier by passenger counts, while Southwest Airlines is No. 2 and Frontier Airlines is No. 3.
Nationally, Southwest had the lowest passenger complaint rate in April while Frontier's rate was highest and United's second highest, according to the DOT's monthly Air Travel Consumer Report, issued Tuesday.
At DIA, United scored an 86.8 percent on-time rate for its 3,259 arriving flights during April.
Frontier came in second among the three big DIA carriers, with 81.5 percent of its 2,710 April flights arriving on time. And Southwest saw 76.9 percent of its 4,692 flights arrive in Denver on schedule.
