TUESDAY: Cloudy and cold with flurries during the morning and snow developing by 3 p.m. The snow will increase in coverage and intensity during the evening.
The heaviest snow will fall overnight Tuesday into Wednesday morning. The snow forecast for most of the metro area is 2 to 5 inches, with 3 to 7 inches in the southern and western suburbs, 4 to 9 inches in the foothills.
Temperatures will stay in the mid 20s all day. Winds from the north will gust to 25 mph.
WEDNESDAY: Morning flurries then rapid clearing. Morning lows will be from 1 to 6 degrees. Afternoon highs will be from 17 to 22 degrees.
THURSDAY: Sunny and warmer. Morning lows from 5 to 10 degrees, afternoon highs from 41 to 46 degrees.
FRIDAY: Sunny, mild and dry. Morning lows from 15 to 20 degrees, afternoon highs from 49 to 54 degrees.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy and slightly cooler. Morning lows from 22 to 27 degrees, afternoon highs from 46 to 51 degrees.
SUNDAY: Partly cloudy and seasonal. Morning lows from 23 to 28 degrees, afternoon highs from 50 to 55 degrees.
MONDAY: Mostly sunny, warm and dry. Morning lows from 22 to 27 degrees, afternoon highs from 54 to 59 degrees.
