KUSA - Wild winds and scattered snow showers are moving into Colorado Tuesday, according to the Colorado weather forecast.

Winds are sustained between 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 50 mph along Interstate 25. Blustery conditions continue for the foothills with gusts up to 65 mph. A High Wind Warning is in effect for much of Eastern Colorado until 6 p.m.

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for the Castle Rock area for 2 to 4 inches of accumulation through 3 p.m. The Eisenhower Tunnel, Breckenridge and Winter Park sit under the advisory with 2 to 4 inches expected.

Sterling, Julesburg and Holyoke will see 2 to 4 inches, with higher amounts along the Wyoming state line. The Park and Elkhead mountains along with Vail, Aspen and Snowmass will stack up 4 to 8 inches.

Skies clear late Tuesday night and the winds calm down, too. The Front Range returns to seasonal 50-degree temperatures Wednesday under partly sunny skies.
