KUSA - Six confirmed tornadoes were reported Wednesday afternoon. A confirmed tornado was located over Watkins. A rain-wrapped tornado was reported near the corner of Tower and Smith roads in Denver. There were no reports of serious damage or injuries.

The storms dropped heavy rain and hail around the Denver area. They knocked down trees and caused minor street flooding. Tornado sirens went off in Denver and surrounding communities.

The threat for strong storms will continue into Thursday for parts of the Front Range. A slight risk for storms producing large hail, damaging wind and isolated tornadoes will stretch from Denver into southeast Colorado Thursday afternoon.
