DENVER - Severe storms are possible in Denver Tuesday afternoon, according to the Colorado weather forecast.
Most locations east of the Continental Divide are sitting under a slight risk of severe weather in the afternoon and early evening.
Large hail, damaging winds and heavy downpours are possible with these storms. Flash flooding could be an issue again on Tuesday, especially in the burn scars.

Highs will reach the mid-80s before temperatures drop another 10 degrees on Wednesday. Scattered storms are possible on Wednesday afternoon.
Drier, sunnier and warmer weather returns on Thursday and Friday as highs soar back into the 90s.
