FORT LUPTON – One teenager was killed and three teenagers were injured when the van they were in lost control during a turn early Tuesday morning, according to Fort Lupton Police.

Police said all of the victims were boys.

When Police Chief Ken Poncelow spoke to 9NEWS, he said he hadn't heard the exact ages, but he believed the boys were young teenagers.

No one else, besides the four teens, were injured in the crash.

Two of the injured teen boys were taken to Children's Hospital Colorado. One was flown there, and the other was transported there by an ambulance, Poncelow said. The third injured teen was taken to Northern Colorado Medical Center by ambulance.
