I-25 reopens south of Castle Rock after multiple wrecks

DOUGLAS COUNTY - At least four crashes involving multiple vehicles have snarled traffic in both directions on Interstate 25 near Castle Rock Thursday morning.

Colorado State Patrol says the interstate was closed in the southbound direction at mile marker 175, which is just north of Tomah Road. It has since reopened.

According to the 9NEWS traffic map, all of the crashes were reported just before 7 a.m.

Drivers should expect long delays, and take alternate routes if they can.
